Cooking Skill Tests
Anyone who wishes to start cooking as a craft, before level 10, must speak to Piketo-Puketo in Windurst Waters (north, E-9). This enables you to sign up to be a cook. In doing so, you can raise your cooking skill level by turning in test items at each cap.
You must take a skill rank test every 10 levels to raise your skill cap. With each test you move your cap up another ten levels. If you do not do these tests your skill will cap and no longer move up no matter what you synth. You can only do one test at a time and only when your skill rank is two levels or less away from the test cap.
All tests are at the 10’s of each level so you take a test at level 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90. You may take the test two levels before cap so you can take the tests at 8, 18, 28, 38, 48, 58, 68, 78 and 88.
