Skill 54-60
The following cooking recipes will raise your crafting skill from level fifty-four to level sixty (54.0 - 60.0). Be sure to take your test between level fifty-eight and level sixty. If you do not take your test, you will not be able to get past level sixty. The synthesis test item for level sixty is Yagudo Drink.

This is an excellent recipe. Farm the crystals if you can and buy the ingredients from the Kolshushu regional vender. You will find that these sell very fast at the Auction House, as most mages will use them at some point or another. Summoners in particular will buy these in bulk for avatar fights. Rather you sell these directly to a summoner friend or at the AH, it is possible to make a profit on these. Your only losses will be any breaks that incur during the skilling process. These will continue to make you profit after you cap them.

If you can get the meat and eggs for a decent cost, you will find this recipe is pretty good profit. Depending on your job level, the meat is very easily farmable too. Pet Food Zeta will sell fast, as it is in demand by Beastmasters and you can sell it in almost any AH and get sales. You could alternate these and Yagudo Drinks for both profit and skill at the same time. These will always sell great and I highly recommend making them for profit later on when you are able to HQ them. |

If you want a less risky recipe that is a bit cheaper to invest in, I would suggest this alternative. I made some of these in my 50's as an alternative to gap through some of those levels. Depending on your server prices for crystals, this will be an easy item to make and sell back to the NPC with little to no loss. Very rarely will anyone buy these, I do not suggest AHing them. However, you should keep some of them, as later on you will want to use them to make Rarab Meatballs. To save the most amount of gil, keep as many as possible. But since the recipe is so easy you could just make them again later as well. |
